1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how AEE Studio handles information in Rewhen. Rewhen helps you remember when everyday moments last happened. The app is designed to work without an account and to store your memories locally on your device.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Rewhen stores memories and history locally on your device. This may include memory titles, emoji, dates, history entries, pinned state, theme choice, language choice, preferences, and Rewhen Pro state.
Your personal memories are not uploaded to AEE Studio servers. AEE Studio cannot view the memories stored on your device unless you choose to share information with us, such as by email.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
- No Rewhen account is required.
- We do not upload your memories to AEE Studio servers.
- We do not use advertising SDKs.
- We do not sell personal data.
- Rewhen does not request location, contacts, microphone, or camera access.
- Rewhen does not currently provide cloud backup, sync, analytics, crash reporting, or notifications.
4. Purchases
Rewhen may use Google Play Billing for a one-time Rewhen Pro purchase. Purchases and payment information are processed by Google Play. AEE Studio does not receive full card details.
Rewhen may store purchase or Pro status locally so the app can unlock the correct experience on your device.
5. Support Communications
If you contact support by email, we receive the information you voluntarily provide. This may include your message content, email address, device details, app version, or screenshots you choose to send.
We use support information to answer your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve Rewhen. We do not use support emails for advertising.
6. Third-Party Services
Rewhen may rely on platform services such as Google Play Billing for purchases and your email app for support messages. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
A public Suggestions portal may be hosted by a third-party feedback platform in the future. If that becomes active, the portal provider may process information you choose to submit there. We will not claim a specific provider is active until it is configured.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Memories remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall Rewhen. Because Rewhen does not require user accounts, there is no account deletion process.
Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, maintain support history, and meet ordinary recordkeeping needs.
8. Children's Privacy
Rewhen is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us so we can review it.
9. Security
We use a local-first design to reduce the amount of information sent away from your device. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so we recommend using your device's built-in security features, such as a passcode or biometric lock.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Rewhen changes. If updates are meaningful, we will make the revised policy available on this page and update the effective date.
